NewYorkBIO and Life Sciences Cares New York Announce Strategic Relationship
Overview
NewYorkBIO, the leading advocate of New York’s life science community, and Life Science Cares today announced a strategic relationship to advance both the growth of New York’s life science ecosystem and support underserved communities across the state.
Through this collaboration, the two organizations will mobilize the life science sector to drive community impact – connecting industry leaders, companies, and institutions with local nonprofit organizations to address critical needs such as access to healthcare, education, workforce development, and economic opportunity. The partnership will also create new opportunities for companies and professionals across the life science ecosystem to engage in volunteerism, philanthropy, and purpose-driven initiatives.
The Big Picture
“We are thrilled to expand our relationship with NewYorkBIO, whose commitment to social responsibility, sustainability, and community development aligns perfectly with our mission.”- Elizabeth Fassberg, Life Sciences New York Executive Director.
“As New York continues to lead as a global hub for life sciences innovation, it is critical that we pair that progress with purpose,” said Jennifer Hawks Bland, CEO of NewYorkBIO. “Our collaboration with Life Science Cares New York will allow us to bring together industry leaders, institutions, and advocates to support communities in need while strengthening the broader ecosystem.”
