Overview
New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) invites experienced STEM education providers to submit proposals for the delivery of hands-on life and health sciences educational programming for K-8 students in the Kips Bay neighborhood. NYCEDC is seeking proposals for the design and implementation of innovative science education experiences that build early career awareness and access in the life and health sciences, aligned with the City’s broader investment in the life and health sciences sector and the momentum of the SPARC Kips Bay campus.
The selected Operator(s) will be responsible for developing and managing programming in partnership with local schools, connecting students directly with employers, and delivering measurable outcomes over a five-year period. NYCEDC will provide up to $500,000 in funding, along with strategic support and stakeholder engagement, to ensure the successful launch and operation of the Life Sciences Education Program.
